Masala Chai

Strictly speaking, “chai” simply means “tea”, while “masala” refers to the spice blend — so “masala chai” is “black tea with spices”. Our take on masala chai uses orange peel to add a bright, flavorful pop to the traditional spice blend, while a flowery orange pekoe black tea from China provides the caffeine.

Drink it hot or cold, with or without milk. For the best flavor, use a spice grinder or mortar & pestle to gently crack open the hard seed shells before steeping.
